What to Expect from the John Wick Game?
Recently, Good Shepherd Entertainment and Lionsgate announced that a new John Wick game titled John Wick Hex will soon be released. However, a date has not been announced. The strategy game will be available exclusively on the Epic Games Store for both PC and Mac. Console release has been planned for sometime in the future, but no date has been set.
The publishers have described the game as “fight-choreographed chess brought to life in a video game,” where players will take on the role of actor Keanu Reeves’ famous assassin character. We also know that the game will implement the “gun fu style” that we have seen in the movies.
Original story and content
A new, original storyline has been created solely for John Wick Hex, which means that this game has expanded the John wick universe. Fans are excited to see what new content they will get. While there has been little to no detail about what the story will be like, we know that it will not be directly linked to the John wick movies.
Graphic art noir visuals
John Wick Hex will have incredible and unique visuals, which is one of the main reasons the game is so highly anticipated. Following a colored graphic art noir style, the game will immerse players in a visual world that is very different most of today’s games with hyper-realistic visuals. Judging from the trailers, playing the game will be like watching a comic book come to life.
A whole lot of options
Players will have plenty of opportunities to unlock new gear and weapons along with new tactics so that they can fight their enemies better. However, ammunition is limited so you will have to search for weapons while on the job if you wish to progress further in the game. This not only gives the game a very realistic feel, but it also pushes players to adopt strategic gameplay.
In addition, players can unlock different locations and suits their character as they progress. This means that you will have plenty of options to customize your character.
Players also get to choose every action that their character makes. However, each move, whether it is an attack or defense, needs to be carefully and strategically chosen as every action will have a consequence. This is why the publishers described the game as “fight-choreographed chess brought to life in a video game”. Every action that is strategically planned will affect the progress of the player, both in terms of the “focus” used and the time is taken.
Another reason why fans are so thrilled to hear the release of John Wicks Hex announces that Ian McShane, the actor who plays Winston in the movies, will be the voice of the same character. Likewise, Lance Reddick will reprise his role as Charon, lending his voice for the game. On top of this, additional actors will be announced in the near future.
