Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is a real-time strategy video game created by Tindalos Interactive and released by Focus Home Interactive. The first title of the game has garnered accolades worldwide due to its fantastic gameplay and setting. However, fans can expect something even grander coming to the second title.

Now the development team is all up to sell the dream of Warhammer 40,000 combat on an enormous galactic scale in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2. Games set in the 40K universe are many in number these days, but the moment-to-moment progression of the gameplay in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 will exceed your expectations. Let’s get to know more about this game here:

Campaigns

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 has three fully-fledged strategy campaigns. All these campaigns prompt you about “what if” events that might happen when a competent commander (which is you) is put in charge of the Necron, Imperium, or Tyranid fleets in the stir of the Fall of Cadia.

Each campaign will create a different future for the galaxy in the 41st millennium and beyond. So, always remember that your choices will define the turns in the game from the very beginning.

New setting

The setting of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is Gathering Storm. It is the perfect time to seep into the far future of Warhammer 40,000 and determine your fate. In the game, Abaddon the Despoiler’s 13th Black Crusade has destroyed Cadia. A chain reaction splits the humungous galaxy quite literally into two.

The era was marked by new allegiances forming and bloody conflicts break out as the warp storms loom. The three campaigns of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 tell you different stories of the galaxy’s prime factions. All these factions traverse the Aegis Ocularis, which is the new name given to the star sectors surrounding the vast, precarious region known as the Eye of Terror.

You will combat your way through familiar sectors, with and against characters such as Belisarius Cawl and Roboute Guilliman as you struggle for dominance.

Multiplayer mode

You can take any of the twelve factions in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 into multiplayer mode. Developers have streamlined the force selection to let you get into your combat session faster. Also, you can now have a more intricately built custom fleet builder equipped with modifiable variables that allow you to craft custom battles if you want.

You will find all ships and factions unlocked from the start, meaning that it’s only your skill that will influence the outcome of the game. Climbing up the ranks in multiplayer rewards you cosmetic upgrades to make your skills and dedication clear to all who you confront.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is undoubtedly a game of chance and options. A countless number of lives are put at stake as battleships clash for dominance over a thousand realms. From choosing an allegiance to building or selecting a fleet composition, to how you fight, announce victory or retreat – everything boils down to your choices.
